Beat the Rush in La Pine!
Special Opportunity on May 17
On Tuesday, May 17th, Mid Oregon Credit Union will be providing a special opportunity for residents in and around La Pine to “Beat the Rush” and join the credit union in advance of our Grand Opening in June. From 11 am to 7 pm on the 17th local staff will be opening accounts at our current La Pine Lending Center at 51473 Hwy 97 to help prospective members “Beat the Rush”.
Mid Oregon invites anyone who has decided to become members, those who just want to learn more about the credit union, and everyone in between to visit us that day. We will continue to open accounts in the lending office as available prior to our relocation to the new branch at 51675 Huntington Road, but on the 17th we will have more staff on hand to get people started on their membership. Checking accounts and student/youth savings and checking accounts are expected to be the most popular.
Grand Opening Scheduled for Saturday, June 4
To celebrate our grand opening, we will have an Open House on Saturday, June 4th, from 11 am to 3 pm. The community is invited to join Mid Oregon staff and board members in the festivities. Free hot dogs will be served, the NJROTC will be presenting the colors in a flag raising ceremony, we will hold a ribbon cutting and other local and community partners will be helping us celebrate.
At the Grand Opening meet our new staff and get a tour of the new facility. Branch manager Tiffany Zeiler will be introducing her team of Stacey Yeager, Jillian Pickle, Ashley Seits and Erin Dillon. New account openings will also be taking place that day, but we encourage prospective members if possible to visit us on May 17th to avoid the busyness of the grand opening.
New Branch Provides Services to a Large Area
Mid Oregon Credit Union is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or goes to school in Deschutes, Jefferson, Crook, Wheeler, Lake and North Klamath Counties. The new La Pine branch will serve not only those living in Sunriver and La Pine, but offers the opportunity for those who live south of the Deschutes County border to have more choice and better access to financial services. Currently there are very limited banking opportunities in those areas, and no credit union branches.
The new La Pine office will offer a wide range of convenience and financial products, including a full service drive-up ATM, instant issue debit cards and CardNav security for checking accounts, savings and investments, auto, truck, RV, boat and toy loans, home and home equity financing, commercial and business loans, Visa Credit Cards, and more. Mid Oregon members have access to more than 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs in the U.S., including 38 in Central Oregon alone.
